Three winners for the 23rd George Peabody essay contest, among third grade students, were presented as they wrote about how they would use their wealth to help the world if they were "great philanthopists" like George Peabody.
The contest was organized by Kelly Turner of the Peabody Historical Society and the winners were Jacqueline Nazzaro (1st), Emma Darling (2nd) and Samantha Cahill (3rd).
