The new A.J. Smith Community Center in Tecumseh is set to be built after funding process has been finalized, where the city will borrow up to $2 million from United Bank and Trust to fund construction.
The community center is expected to be operational by early 2013, a building with two multi-use indoor sports activity courts, offices for the parks and recreation department, rental space for family gatherings and a common area space.
