The Community Foundation of Abilene has recently secured a final gift of $22,000 needed to build a water park, an attraction that will boast 26 water features and accommodate up to 250 people at a time.
The final gift was given by the Steve Arthur Family Foundation Fund, allowing the community foundation to continue the splash pad project as July is their target date for its opening.
