Since the economic downturn, the El Pomar Foundation awards emergency funds to Colorado nonprofit organizations helping those who continue to struggle meeting basic needs and Caring Ministries of Morgan County is another recipient receiving a $15,000 grant.
Grant recipients work in the areas of: health, human services, education, arts and humanities, and civic and community initiatives.
