The Community Foundation for Surrey awarded more than £180,000 in grants to support projects which provide resources for young people, reduce isolation for older residents, improve community facilities and cater for disabled people.
A Place To Be youth group is one of the grant recipients receiving £4,000 to provide a skilled youth team to help young people improve social skills and confidence, and become involved in the community.
