The Morton Community Foundation has awarded 23 grants totaling $36,316 to area non-profit organizations and tax-supported institutions for the benefit of Morton residents.
The foundation also awarded $8,000 in scholarships to Morton High School seniors, and that brings the total of grants and scholarships to a record $44,316.
