A new, universally accessible canoe and kayak launch facility just downstream of the Tridge on the Tittabawassee River in downtown Midland and access facilities at Sanford Lake Park on the lake, and on Chippewa Nature Center's Universal Access Site on Chippewa River Road were all funded through a Kellogg Foundation grant matched by several local sources.
