The Erie Community Foundation awarded nearly $2 million to area non-profit agencies with nearly $60,000given to the Erie Art Museum. The organization awards grants quarterly after reviewing applications.
Mike Batchelor of the Erie Community Foundation said that they have other donors and other other funding sources like the Erie County Gaming Revenue Authority so there are times they can step in at a very key moment and be helpful.
