The After 26 Project, which is creating a restaurant and gift shop that will employ 30 special needs adults from the greater Cadillac area, received a $10,000 grant from the DTE Energy Foundation to be used to update the former Ann Arbor railroad depot, 127 W. Cass Street, in downtown Cadillac, which will serve as the location for the restaurant.
The After 26 Project provide meaningful employment for special needs adults after age 26, since they can no longer attend public schools in Michigan.
