Thirty nine local nonprofits and community organizations have received a grant from the DeKalb County Community Foundation. The grant amounting to a total of $138,225 will be used to sustain programs, help organizations, improve infrastructures as well as purchase new equipments.
Among the organizations that accepted the grant are Open Door Rehabilitation Center, Clinton Township Public Library, Safe Passage, Inc., Somonauk CUSD 432, Shabbona Lake State Park and Illinois DNR Police, Sycamore Film Festival, DeKalb County Historical-Genealogical Society and Children’s Learning Center.
