The Bexley Parks and Recreation Department received a $5,000 grant from the Bexley Community Foundation’s small grant program.
The program aims to help improve Bexley’s local library, and help preserve Bexley history, as well as allow residents to kayak on Alum Creek.
The grant money was used to fund a kayak program in Alum creek where the department have bought 8 sets of kayak and related safety equipments for the program.
