A music video was created by a group of young people in Oakland implying the importance of having a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). BRT allows buses to run in dedicated lanes that are free of traffic. In this way, it is safer for bicyclists, pedestrians, and even cars.
The video was played at a meeting of the AC Transit Board of Directors, who voted in support of the project.
