Grants available from Community Foundation of Northern Illinois

Applications are still accepted for the July cycle of grants being offered by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, which seeks to fund community improvement projects in the region.

A total of around $200,000 in grant funding, Linda Sandquist, director of marketing and communications for the Community Foundation said that it funds projects and programs of nonprofits that get to the root cause of a problem.
