The Jewish Community Foundation has an expanded funding role since the restructuring of Jewish Federation as part of Campaign Renewal in 2011 and will begin the 2012 grant award cycle in October.
Its grants committee, headed by Gayle Gross, will now make similar determinations on the use of funds donated to the annual campaign and transferred from Jewish Federation so that the Foundation will have more funds to distribute as program grants to affiliate agencies.
