About Us
The Bayou Community Foundation was launched as a new nonprofit foundation designed to attract resources and manage donations needed to improve quality of life in Terrebonne and Lafourche.
The Community Foundation was set up with help from the Greater New Orleans Foundation and is an affiliate of that group. It has access to the New Orleans group's expertise but makes independent decisions about its projects.
