The City of Muskogee Foundation, a nonprofit that aims to promote, support and boost community, education and arts programs, has approved a $35,000 grant to the city for the creation of an arts and entertainment cultural district.
The grant is expected to be matched by the city with a $10,000 to pay for an engineering study to establish a family-friendly entertainment venue.
