The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation has awarded a $30,000 grant to a Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter that will be paid over three years.
The shelter has recently expanded its services to include a second apartment building in Peterborough, and these three grants will help the organization continue to assist people in transition during the current housing crisis, the New Hampshire Union Leader reports.
"These grants will help the organization, which receives no state or federal money, continue its mission of providing transitional housing to people experiencing homelessness in the Monadnock region," says a foundation press release.
