Bitcoin may be the currency of the future, but there's still a lot of work to be done before it can be used for charitable purposes.
That's according to a study published Tuesday in the Journal of Philanthropy, which looked at how cryptocurrencies can be used for charitable purposes.
The study looked at six types of cryptocurrencies: Stellar, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Classic, Bitcoin Gold, and Cardano.
Here are the six most common uses of cryptocurrencies for charitable purposes, according to a press release: Sending money to the Red Cross: The study found that people who use cryptocurrencies to send money to the Red Cross can do so at a much lower cost than using cash.
Sending money to the UN: The study found that people who use cryptocurrencies to send money to the UN can do so at a much lower cost than using cash.
Using cryptocurrency to donate to the UN: The study found that people who use cryptocurrency to donate to the UN can do so at a much lower cost than using cash.
Using cryptocurrency to donate to non-governmental organizations: The study found that people who use cryptocurrency to donate to non-governmental organizations can do so at a much lower cost than using cash.
