If you're looking for a summer job that will give you real-world experience, a new program out of Canada's Simon Fraser University could be just the job for you.
It's called the Global Internship Program, and it's open to anyone who's at least 18 years old, has a 3.2 GPA or higher, and has lived in Canada for at least six months, reports the CBC.
The program is designed to give students "the opportunity to work in a real-world internship," says the university's director of international programs, who notes that the program isn't meant to be a full-time job, but rather a way for students to "get a taste of what it's like to live in a foreign country," per the school's website.
The program runs from July 2019 to July 2024.
