Kathy Catazaro-Perry served as mayor of Massillon, Ohio, for 12 years, but she lost her re-election bid to a new mayor in November.
Now she's got a new job.
Catazaro-Perry began her new position as executive director of the Community Building Partnership of Stark County on Monday, replacing Maureen Austin, who retired at the end of last year, the Canton Repository reports.
The CBP is a nonprofit that focuses on neighborhood revitalization.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to continue to impact Massillon, Canton, Alliance, and others in the Stark County community," Catazaro-Perry said after the announcement.
