Seri Roth is an entrepreneur "with a passion for empowering communities and fostering positive change," according to her website.
She's just launched Boston Queers, an online directory and community platform for LGBTQ-owned and inclusive businesses in New England.
The idea for Boston Queers came to Roth while she and her partner were planning their wedding.
"They encountered challenges in finding queer-owned businesses to support for their special day, prompting Seri to envision a comprehensive resource that would make it easier for queer individuals and allies to discover and patronize local businesses that align with their values," Roth says in a press release.
Boston Queers will feature a directory of businesses across various industries, from restaurants and retailers to service providers and beyond.
It will also offer a monthly newsletter highlighting favorite local businesses, community events, and employment opportunities.
Roth says she wants Boston Queers to "empower and uplift" the LGBTQ community.
