So says Carrie Watkins, who has been named president and CEO of the Meals on Wheels of Montgomery County in Texas, per the Houston Chronicle.
She takes over for Summer Day, who has been president and CEO for the past seven years.
Watkins joined Meals on Wheels in 2015 and served as a member of the board of directors until October of last year, when she started serving as community development director, according to a news release.
"Together with our staff, volunteers, and community partners, we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that home-bound seniors in our community have access to the meals and transportation services they desperately need," Watkins says.
