Nebraska's Phelps County Community Foundation has been awarded $15,000 through AARP's 2024 Community Challenge Grant Program to help communities become more livable, KSNB reports.
The grant, part of AARP's nationwide Livable Communities Initiative, will be used to improve things like public spaces, transportation, housing, digital connections, and more.
"People of all ages can enjoy the art, the outdoors, music and friends," says the foundation in a press release.
