The Creative Capital Foundation selected 55 artists and collectives for its annual grant award from a pool of over 5,600 applicants.
Each grant provides $50,000 of unrestricted project funding alongside multi-year professional development and opportunities for community building.
Among the grantees, 14 are visual artists, 15 work in performing arts, 12 are in the film and moving image sector, three were awarded for projects in technology, and five received grants for literary projects.

Weston Mill-based social enterprise Surplus Rescue CIC (Community Interest Company) recycles and finds homes for unwanted furniture. To date, it has received “extensive amounts” of quality second-hand furniture including desks, pedestals, cupboards and office chairs from a former local authority office equipment – and wants to find them a good home.
