If you're in Nashville and want to help fight climate change, there's a program you can sign up for for free.
The Climate Innovation Accelerator is a 10-week program from Vanderbilt University's Center for Innovation that pairs minority-owned small businesses, universities, and nonprofits with an expert mentor to "advance the city's leadership initiatives toward a climate-positive future," the center says in a press release.
This year's cohort of 75 participants finished their journey in April, the Tennessean reports.
Over the course of the program, students worked on community building and "hands-on framework such as design thinking and systems change to learn through the impact of real-world projects," the center says.
