The second round of recipients of the Island Innovation Funds from the Hawaii Community Foundation has been awarded with grants amounting to $480,591.
Five out of the eight finalists were given the grants with projects about energy awareness, monitoring of the Hawaii legislative process, fall prevention program for seniors, new access mechanism for trails and pathways and going green among the schools.
