The Joy Foundation awarded grants to York-area VFW amounting to $750 to help veterans in any way needed and the Wessel's Living History Farm which received $5,000 for the construction of the new restroom facility.
The mission of the foundation is to provide grants to agriculture-related organizations in York and Polk Counties to help them offset costs of their specific projects and programs.
