Shreveport-Bossier City ranks sixth among eight similar communities, according to the Community Foundation 2011 Community Counts report which examined 20 social indicators.
The Community Foundation will use the report to research programs that could address key needs and Executive Director Paula Hickman said the report highlights the need for more attention to education.
