Philanthropic Commitment of Six General Partners of Andreessen Horowitz

Marc Andreessen shares in his blog that six General Partners of Andreessen Horowitz are all committing to donate at least half of all income from their venture capital careers to philanthropic causes during their lifetimes.

There will be an immediate group donation of $1 million to a set of six vital Silicon Valley-related nonprofit organizations: the Via Services, the Ecumenical Hunger Program, the Second Harvest Food Bank, the Fresh Lifelines for Youth, the Canopy and The Shelter Network.
