National Park Foundation announced over $200,000 in grants to be awarded to the 13 national parks selected to participate in the 2012 Active Trails program, promoting national parks as a venue for community engagement and encourages healthy living.
The foundation work hand in hand with the National Park Service to connect all Americans to the parks, and to make sure that they are preserved for the generations who will follow.
