About Us
The NBC Universal Foundation together with NBC Owned Television Stations has given a grant to the top nonprofit organizations in NBC owned station markets. The grant in the amount of $1.2 million will be used to support the 21st Century Solutions which aims to help communities identify opportunities for positive change and support nonprofits that are putting new ideas into action.
21st Century Solutions enable nonprofits implementing new and innovative programs to compete for funding in the ten local communities served by the NBC owned stations which includes Chicago, Connecticut, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area and Washington.
