Now in its 4th year, McKenna Legacy Foundation handed out its next round of grants, giving nearly a million dollars to 30 nonprofits agencies, focusing on health and well-being in order to continue their work in the community.
At the top of this year's funding list is the New Braunfels Area Community Foundation with a $135,000 grant to be used as the seed money for the organization, which will act as another source of funding for other organizations whose focus is education.
