The Brain Research Foundation has awarded a grant in the amount of $30,000 to the Institute for Sports Medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
The research grant will be used to fund a research in order to improve pediatricians' ability to evaluate and manage sports-related concussive injuries among young children, and guide future research regarding the diagnosis, treatment and long term effects of these events.
