Local nonprofits have received grants from the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County. The grant in the total amount of $167,158 will be used to support five areas including arts and culture, human services, economic development, education and community betterment.
The 13 nonprofit agencies and groups who have been awarded the grant are: American Diabetes Association, Animal Rescue Fund, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Cardinal Greenway, Energize-ECI, Hearts and Hands United, Hemophilia of Indiana Inc., Huffer Memorial Children’s Center, Muncie Action Plan, Psi Iota Xi Charities Inc., Red-tail Conservancy, Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana and United Way of Delaware County.
