The U.S. Airway Community Foundation has recently awarded grants amounting to $150K to two organizations in Charlotte.
$75,000 was awarded to the United Family Service to aid on their shelter expansion for Battered Women Facility. The other $75,000 was given to Charlotte Rescue Mission for the expansion of their Dove’s Nest Residential Recovery Programs for homeless and at-risk women with alcohol and drug problems.
