The Lance Foundation will be awarding one-time grants to 13 nonprofit organizations in Charlotte Area amounting to $1.5 million.
The grants will benefit those programs that support education, healthy living, fighting hunger, and military assistance.
Charlotte Bridge Home, Charlotte Family Housing, Communities In Schools-Charlotte, and CrossRoads Corporation are just 4 of the 13 nonprofit organizations receiving the grants.
