The Community Foundation for Calderdale raised £43,000 to be used for emergency relief operations for the flood victims.
The £10,000 of the £43,000 was donated by the foundation from their general funds. Meanwhile the remaining £33,000 was donated by the public and by businesses. Some of the money was used to buy dehumidifiers, mops, buckets, and other cleaning materials.
