About Us
Brooklyn Community Foundation announced its 2012 grants totalling $2.3 million to boost Brooklyn's nonprofit sector through the foundation's five donor-supported funds.
Bedford Stuyvesant nonprofits received the highest number of neighborhood-directed grants, focusing on education and youth achievement, workforce and economic development, emergency food, open space and public health, affordable housing and support for cultural enrichment.
