The Nissan Foundation has awarded $655,000 in grants to 26 nonprofit organizations from across the country at a special luncheon commemorating the its 20th anniversary.

The mission of the Nissan Foundation is to build community through valuing cultural diversity, with a commitment to enrich people's lives by helping to meet the needs of communities throughout the United States through philanthropic investments, sponsorships, donations and other charitable contributions.
