The campaign to privately raise $250,000 for the Umberto Abronzio Soccer Bowl at San Jose Watson Park is a collaboration among Soccer Silicon Valley Community FOundation, San Jose Parks Foundation, Northside neighborhood, and Steven Beitashour.
The plan includes bulding an exhibit on the life of Abronzio, who was considered to be the father of the South Bay recreational soccer.
