The Community Foundation of Castlegar and District is now a registered charitable organization by the Canada Revenue Agency.
Board president Bob Jackson maintains that one of the foundation's many goals is to boost the quality of life in Castlegar and District by establishing "permanent endowment, making responsible grants and inspiring leadership."
