Hospital of Central Connecticut received a total of $25,000 grants or its Medical-Legal Partnership Project with the Center for Children’s Advocacy.
The funds are made possible through the Community Chest of New Britain and Berlin Inc., which provided $20,000, and the Farmington Bank Community Foundation, which contributed $5,000. Hospital pediatricians and attorneys with the advocacy center work to improve children's access to quality health care and to resolve housing, Medicaid and other related issues.
