EU-Startups features 10 success stories about social enterprises across Europe making positive, social impact while making money at the same time.
The 10 social enterprises include: Agricool, Arborea, ChargedUp, Feelif, Koovee, Orange Fiber, Solar Foods, Sustainer Homes, Too Good To Go, and Chatterbox.
These social businesses tackle social problems, such as access to affordable housing, urban agriculture, food waste and plastic reduction, pollution eradication, and lots more. As business ventures, they may measure success in terms of profit and return, but their business model includes performance measurements on the positive impact of their work on society and, most often, they are looking to do this to scale.
Social entrepreneurship is all about solutions, and these successful social enterprises aim to do just that.
