City of Valdosta Celebrates National Community Development Week

Valdosta, GA is celebrating National Community Development Week, along with its Community Development Block Grant Program.

In it's 40th year, the CDBG program is being supported by Mayor John Gayle. The CDBG awards grants to states, counties and cities to continue to enhance the conditions in lower income neighborhoods. Valdosta city officials recently toured the communities where the grant money has been used.
