The Horizon Light mural project was funded by the Heising-Simons Foundation.
The Community Foundation of San Carlos performs strategic philanthropy via grants, community building activities and other initiatives.
The foundation aims to create and amplify sustained and measurable impact for the San Carlos community.
The foundation will launch in 2019 with a goal of raising $1.5 million.
