The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation has awarded a $3 million grant to the Historic Macon Foundation to support efforts in revitalizing the city's Beall's Hill neighborhood.
Part of a public-private partnership with Mercer University, Macon-Bibb County, and the Macon Housing Authority, the neighborhood revitalization initiative aims to restore thirty-two blocks of Beall's Hill within the College Hill Corridor.
