Funds totaling $30,300 have been granted by the Greater Lowell Community Foundation to five non-profit organizations in the area. Afghanistan Resettlement Fund funds were given out by the GLCF last year. Nonprofits in the Greater Lowell area who aid newly arrived Afghan refugees may apply for grants from the fund. At the same time, CEO Jay Linnehan expressed his gratitude to his kind benefactors for their continued support of the resettlement endeavor.
