One of the biggest agricultural companies in the world is putting its money where its mouth is.
The AGCO Agriculture Foundation is offering up to $300,000 in grants to help farmers and communities deal with the effects of climate change, the Des Moines Register reports.
The foundation, which is affiliated with AGCO, the world's largest agribusiness, says it wants to help farmers and communities "make farms more resilient to climate impacts they're currently facing, and to those likely to hit in the future."
According to the foundation's website, projects should "work towards improving farmer productivity, and as a result, livelihoods; making farms more resilient to climate impacts they're currently facing, and to those likely to hit in the future."
