The COVID-19 pandemic took a toll on small businesses across the country, so American Express is offering a number of grants to help them get back on their feet, Mashable reports.
The company's "Backing Historic Small Restaurants" program is offering $40,000 in grants to restaurants that have been in business for at least a year and lost at least a quarter of their revenue during the pandemic.
Other small-business grants are available to businesses affected by COVID-19, natural disasters, and Hispanic-owned businesses.
