If you're a woman and live in Texas, there's a good chance you've been nominated for a prestigious business awardand if you win, you could get $50,000.
The Dallas Morning News reports on the annual Women's Entrepreneurship Awards, which honor "trailblazers" in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation, and entrepreneurship among women.
This year's theme: "Driving Innovation in North Texas."
The awards are open to women who live and work in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and women who are at least 51% owned and controlled by a woman are eligible.
Nominations are due Sept.
16, and winners will be announced Oct.
13.
